§ 8.24.020. Permit—Required when.

    It is unlawful for any person to set fire or cause fire to be set out of doors at any time between April 1st and December 1st of any year without first obtaining a written fire permit from the constituted fire control authority within the area wherein the fire is to be set.

    B.

    "Constituted fire control authority," referred to in subsection (A) of this section, means and is defined to be any person or organization to which the board of supervisors of the county has delegated the duty of the control of fires in the unincorporated area of the county.
