§ 2.70.020. Purpose of commission.

The purpose of the commission is to negotiate exclusive contracts with the California State Department of Health Care Services and other federal, state and nonprofit entities to arrange for the provision of health care services to qualifying individuals who lack sufficient annual income to meet the costs of health care pursuant to Chapter 7, Part 3, Division 9 of the Welfare and Institutions Code (commencing with Section 14000).
