§ 2.100.290. Compensation schedule.

Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, all officers and employees of the county shall receive the compensation provided in the standard salary schedule for the position classification in which each is employed. Such compensation shall be paid on a biweekly basis. The salary pay period shall begin on a Saturday and end fourteen days later on a Friday, and shall consist of eighty working hours. Such pay periods will be as established by the auditor-controller. Employees, including elected officials, shall be paid each Friday following the conclusion of a pay period, or as otherwise provided by the board of supervisors. The treasurer-tax collector shall pay such warrants upon presentation thereof.
