§ 2.97.010. Purpose.

The purpose of this chapter is to authorize the county, as permitted by Government Code Section 25537, to utilize an alternate procedure for the leasing of county-owned real property to that procedure prescribed by Government Code Sections 25526 to 25535 in order to reduce the costs involved in the award of such leases and to increase the flexibility of the county when dealing with unusual circumstances where short-term leases of low market rental value are involved.
