§ 16.08.200. Permit—Application—Director's review—Environmental impact.

  • A.

    The application shall be referred to the director for study and report. The director shall notify the applicant of deficiencies in the application, and the applicant shall be given a reasonable opportunity to correct any such deficiency.

    B.

    The director shall, at the applicant's expense, prepare an environmental impact report on the proposed timber operation in accordance with requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 and of county guidelines.

    C.

    The director shall submit to the commission within ninety days after receipt of the application a written report and recommendation on the application, which shall include or be accompanied by an environmental impact report and the director's recommendation with respect to any request for exemption or modification made pursuant to Section 16.08.190. The time limitation contained herein may be extended by the period taken by the applicant to correct the deficiencies in the application, or by the mutual agreement of the parties.
